That is a tooth from a sickle bar mower. I'll see if I can find a pic.

72 cheyenne has it right. Every couple months someone will post one of those to ID. They look like a valuable, interesting relic, but they are worthless. We've all found one.

I find these, how did it work. What did it do? Cut crop or rake the soil?

they still use that same part on combines and sickle bar mowers.
those parts are made from real soft steel, they rust away pretty quick
and I'm not that old LOL
