Posting for a friend, this cut copper was found in SE Virginia and found in the same area of several pieces of cut silver and other early relics.
It is approx 21-22mm in diameter and rather thin. Visible details are self-eplanatory but the XI or IX could have more roman numerals with it on the missing piece.

Letters EIN something on one side

Letter CUMPRI or CUM.PRI or PR1, not sure, a possible date of 170_ and some symbols or is that an arm? Anyway, looking for help on this one, leaning towards it being a Jeton, German, Portugal or somewhere in that area, doubt it is French and it is not English..

Another WAG:
I see a man holding a staff in his left hand with his right arm raised.
The letters 'cum pri' (if this were in Latin) mean: "as soon as".
I also imagine the left piece as saying "einen", German for 'one'.

I just received an email from a good friend who has in my opinion nailed the coin. It is a 1761 or 1762 German 21 Heller.
