unknown cuff button---need help

THIS CUFF WAS FOUND WHERE SOME CIVIL WAR ITEMS HAS BEEN RECOVERED---BUT YOU KNOW HOW FAR THAT GOES---I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT KIND OF BUTTON OR HOW OLD IT WOULD BE.ANY INFO WOULD BE OF HELP.

The top button looks like a late 18th or early 19th century sleeve link (cufflink) button. Not sure about the design, but it might be an urn, often used on mourning jewelry of that era.
