Out today at a really old spot that we go to known as tavern hill. It was the location of a tavern/ inn going back into the mid to late 1600’s and finally burned down in 1790. Although the footprin of the building is covered in iron, we’ve pulled out a ton of very old copper coins including KG l, KGll, KGlll’s all counterfeit, a counterfeit connecticut copper, a Massachusetts copper, a cut Jersey copper, French Liards and a handful of mid 1700’s 1/2 Reales. Anyway, I dug a 80-83 signal that sounded like crap and out popped a farthing sized copper and I have no idea what it is. It’s not a Bawbee and it’s bigger than a Liard.
ive posted a set of pictures with the mystery coin in the center, a merc dime and a 1657 Liard for size comparison.
thanks in advance for the help!!!

Solved. You probably can’t see it in my pictures, but I thought I could see a harp on the back so I went in the direction, anyway, turns out to be a King James ll Irish half penny circa 1680’s
