Ok Guy's and Gal's Here's ya'll one.
This Button(one piece) Was found at a mid 1800's home place, Along with a1887 Injun.
I see An Eagle facing it's right the word "Improved" around the bottom. And what I think
are the Letters J space W A L either X or K E maybe and a I or Y......Any Help is welcomed.
Thanks in Advance. one piece button.jpg

To start, are we looking at the back or front, and does the reverse side have anything on it?

*** Edit: I just realized that was a silly question. This is the back. "Improved" is a common thing to find on the back of a button.

"J Walden" (or something similar) was the button manufacturer. I did some searches but I cannot find any records of that name.
