I found these 2 items at seperate sites and different times, but I thought it would be convenient to post both of them now. The first item is a thick copper disk with a copper loop on either end that I found 2 weeks ago. It is definitely old and handmade, I found it at the site of one of the areas first houses. Any help at all would be appreciated, im clueless on that one. The second item I recovered today at an old dump near a house built in the late 1800's. It's some kind of buckle for sure, but I know its not a normal one. My guess would be a WW1 or WW2 carbine sling buckle, I learned about them from a previous post, but im not a buckle expert. If anyone could help with either of these items that would be great. Thanks for looking and HH!

I believe the second thing is to a well pump where a number of these were fastened together inside a pipe to mechanically draw water.
