Unknown brass item. Marked

Big brass (maybe copper) item found. Says 1 1/2 on it. It's pretty heavy too. Rang up as 88 on the AT Pro. Any ideas?

Definitely of the same use! Wonder what they could be. Yours appears older. What type and how old of an area were you hunting?

I was hunting an old farm house built in the 1930's... Maybe for a cobbler who makes shoes/boots?

Is any dimension of these items equivalent to the marking of 1 1/2 ? Possibly a shim for some type of farm equipment
