Big brass (maybe copper) item found. Says 1 1/2 on it. It's pretty heavy too. Rang up as 88 on the AT Pro. Any ideas? image-4290787752.webp image-431573674.webp image-2044926530.webp

looks almost like a heel plate except it curved

I sure hope you find out what this is. I posted one I found last year and did not get an answer... here is the one I found in 2014... <img src="http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1114067"/>

Definitely of the same use! Wonder what they could be. Yours appears older. What type and how old of an area were you hunting?

I was hunting an old farm house built in the 1930's... Maybe for a cobbler who makes shoes/boots?

Is any dimension of these items equivalent to the marking of 1 1/2 ? Possibly a shim for some type of farm equipment
