Unknown Bicycle Bell

I found this today up in the mountains - I liked the design so kept it but cannot find anything on it.

It clearly reads "The Heart Bell", "Manufactured by T.M. & Co. 1914" so I thought it wouldnt be hard to research, but you guys are my last hope.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes - I did not picture the reverse, but it does have a protruding "pod" in the middle where it screws on to the bicycle bell. Its quite heavy. Its a very "western" design, so I thought those on this forum could help. I am stumped!!
