Found this detecting along side of a rock wall.On front it says Dept of Aviation Boy Flight Commander,theres an airplane on the bottom its dated 1906.There was a pin on back its gone.I am amazed at the things you dig up you never know thats the fun part.

One of the badges worn by early Civil Air Patrol leader? That's what it reminds me of. I think it came about during WWII if that's what it is. Just a guess. Monty

Are you sure it says 1906? Where on the bottom?

I still dont see where it says 1906. Can you point it out? Maybe Hunter is confusing the design on top.
