Unknow signed painting

I came across an original signed acrylic painting. It has the signature A. Rubin I am trying to figure out the first name of the artist and a little more info on the painting such as timeframe and possibly if there is any value. I haven't been able to find the full name of the artist yet and would love to know more information about this piece.

Acrylic paint was first manufactured in 1934. I have never heard of this artist and haven't been able to locate any info on he/she. I usually sign my paintings with my first name and last initial, but all artists are different. Is the painting on canvas or some kind of paper? Sometimes it's easier to date pictures by the canvas, say the way it was stretched etc. It almost appears to be done on paper because of the way it is framed, it is sort of difficult to tell from the picture. It also looks like a water color from the picture, but again it is difficult to be sure from the picture. It's a nice piece, I like it.

I included a picture of the back of the picture and it seems to be painted on some type of thick paper. I have searched hours online an was unable to find more information

This is the back of a hardboard canvas. It gives the artist a place for their name and medium used. I think if this artist was famous we would be able to find info on him/her. I also believe the frame would have been of much better quality. I still like it.

I think this may just be an older canvas board you have, so it looks slightly different. I hope it is someone famous, but not too confident that it is.
