Any ideas what these are? We have found at least 8 of them at a cavalry camp we are working.

Don't think they are gun hammers. Looks like if they weren't broken they would form an iron object with a hole in the middle? Monty

I don't know enough about mule shoes to doubt your opinion however, All of them are identical and don't appear to be broken in any way.

They arent mule shoes,mule shoes are slightly different then horse shoes
