My neighbor found this coin rolling a few weeks ago. The coin is much thinner than a real half dollar.

He's wondering if anyone else has seen one like it. He can't send it back from whence it came because the bank cut him off from ordering more halves.

Looks like a coin from a magic trick I bought a few years ago. I'll see if I can find an example...

Edit: it's a trick called the "scotch and soda"- try googling it. I'm not sure if I'm right, but I also remember that my half had a similar cut off edge, so it could fit inside the "shell".
