1920s gargoyle Mobiloil Sign... and a nice ring with diamonds... not bad for a newbie I'm addicted now !!! Any ideas on how to clean up the sign

Bet that ring will clean up nicely.and for that sign I'd find a good nail to hang that bad boy on,it looks to be in great shape.cool finds

try some oxalic acid.....it wont wreck the paint like citric might (cleans up old tins you may dig up well too - even rusty ones)
