Unique button

[The Fog]

Hello Tnetters! I've found many buttons in the past couple years, military, frocks, tombacks etc., but haven't found any that look like this. Was wondering if someone might know a time period, found it in a small town on Cape Cod. It's lead and the glass jewel seems to have a reflective piece behind it. Haven't found many lead buttons, any input would be appreciated.

I'd say part of (button) to a cuff link.The glass ones like that late 17th-to mid 18th century. I've gotta go now and am pushed for time but think that's what it is.Off to work. Look here to see if you can find one close.
