Unique 1876-S Trade dollar

Would anyone happen to know anything about a 1876-S trade dollar that upon viewing is a real coin, however upon closer examination the coin opens up to reveal a hidden compartment on the inside? It is pretty neat and some people have said the government made these for spies but made them destroy them. I am at work and dont have a picture but I will try to get one on later today. Definately not Government Made.

But Probably was a real Dollar at one time.

There are quite a lot of Trade Dollars lide this, I have seen several. One story is that they were made to hold opium, don't have any idea if it is true.
