Hello you lovely lot, my friend found this over in England and we're hoping to find out more about it.

We figured it's a Spanish coin and probably a "cob" because of how crude it's made.

Can anyone possibly let us know how we can date it and identify where it was struck if possible?

I'm having issues finding a matching castle on the rear

Any help will be much appreciated ☺️

something like this...



Spanish or Bolivia... based on size, I think perhaps 2 reales. I like it as a Philip III... so, early 1600's.
