Hi lads.
Last weekend I found a broken coin that I just cant find a match to. The only letters I can see clearly are AB. There might be an M before AB, but I'm not 100% sure.
But if anyone know of a coin with the letters AB on it let me know.. I have not found a single one on google yet.

There is also an A on the backside where the arrow points to.

The size is about 21mm

The coin was found in Norway, in a very old field.

Welcome aboard T Net, wish I could help, Norway is my heritage, but that's all, I know not a thing about Norske coins, old or new.

Could this be your coin?
I have marked the pic where I see similarities to your coin.

"The denomination is 2 (II) Marck. At the time the system was 1 Daler = 6 Marck, 1 Marck = 16 Skilling, so this was also worth 32 Skilling or 1/3 Daler. It weighs approximately 11,14 grams, 67,2% silver. The type was made 1649-1669. 1655 is not a particularly difficult year, but none of these are easy to come by these days."
