✅ SOLVED Unidentified Millitary buckle or sword plate

This was found at an early 1800's home sight in upstate New York. There was also an early military encampment close by from the early 1800's. I believe its an infantry buckle or sword plate. Is anyone able to date this and provide any more info on it?

it looks like a u.s.militia company plate.company I.below is company C 1875

Looks like a match to me, the backs are pretty much identical. I would still love to find out which state militia its from.
