✅ SOLVED Unidentified Lead Object

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I found it in a farm field. It's lead, has notches cut all around the edge and a hole in the bottom.

Fired 12 gauge rifled slug. For deer hunting.

Looks to me like a 12-guage shotgun slug. . . the "notches" around the edge would give the slug rotation which would keep it on a straighter flight.

I always find the shell headstamps but never the slug. . . cool find!
