I am so goad you responded, I found this button some time ago but have nit been able to identify. I have found buttons from 1600's and this particular one is not that old. There are a couple differences that I notice between my button and the Netherlands button. The two "lions" on my button are facing outward and not towards eachother. Also the word emainviendi is very clear and differs slightly from the Netherlands button. After reading your post I think you are on the right path, could this button be from another country, and if so what time frame? Early 1900's? Any value? Thanks so much for the help!

Hi there, were you able to gather any more info on this button? I acquired one and would love to know more about it.
Thanks

Renaissance,
Welcome to Treasure Net !!
What more would you like to know beyond the disclosure that it is a generic button off a blazer jacket?

That's of a similar nature... ie gentlemen's button borrowing the Netherlands coat of arms and likely 20th Century. The wording below the armorial is ‘Je Maintiendrai’ (I will maintain), used on the Royal Arms since 1815.
