First I want to thank everyone for helping me with this. I found this small bowl, 5", at a local farm
auction. There are no makers mark anywhere and I want to find out who made it what country and a value. It is 5"x 4", the colors are white, blue and dark blue, it looks like a crab shell and on the end it curls into a spiral and the design at the bottom of the bowl are boats and fisherman shack. If anyone has seen or knows anything about it I would be grateful. Thank you Shannon

Thanks OK, now I see it, I have no clue, but that might be a Dutch windmill scene??

i believe the item is made after a Blue Conch shell. it looks like a ash tray , and i agree with crusader it looks like a Holland windmill and sail boats in the distance.
i have not found a match yet but will keep looking .

Funny, I was thinking conch shell but never knew what types there were.

What an odd and interesting piece! As stated it is made to look like a cut conch shell with the classic "windmill & sailboats" motif. Are those hibiscus flowers? Such a strange combination!

Look up Delftware. I don't think your piece is very old. I would guesstimate mid 20th C.
