This looks cast iron or lead I found this necklace that's pretty close to yours but not exactly the same I am guessing yours is from the 1960 - 1980 so it's not very old.

I have not found a match but noticed some things.1st...is the backside flat?

It looks like maybe even sand cast,it seems so crude and even has mistakes.what is your take on the metal type?is about 2 1/4" about right?
