so i decided to brave the 100 degree weather, and some shine found my eye, all i saw was the unworked side, it was a large flake, somehow i knew it was gonna be a good one, i flipped it and its probally my favorite knife i have found yet. it curves beautifully and the edges have micro secondary flaking, that of a Folsom projectile, now im not calling this paleo, but the edge work reminds me of Folsom. My camera is having problems showing the edge detail.
Here is the awesome part, about ten feet away i found another fragment, and it matches the base of the knife, patinas are totally different, knife itself almost seems heat treated. but when glued together you can see how the whole original knife was worked, and when it broke the right side was reworked to a considerable ammount. "see lower pictures "
I love this piece, remends me of the super thin crowfield being offered, hense the material its made of.
