Found this in the yard today. It's obviously a .32 S&W. But the tapered opening is something I've never seen before. Ideas?

Is there any risk in hanging onto it as a keepsake? I don't want to have to worry about the primer going off.

No risk, I have about 2,000 of them in my basement (for reloading)...it would sound like a cap gun if yours went off. Plus it's probably inert anyways from being in the ground.
