Howdy all,
In my earlier post I said I was gonna try and get out again. Well it didn't look like that was gonna be the case. We had company for most of the day, and tons of stuff to take care of. So about 4:00 I ended up taking my wife's girlfriend home. We left early anticipating a long wait due to construction. Lately it has been taking an hour to get her home, when it should only be 20 minutes. So I figured an hour there and an hour back. Well guess what? No construction today. So I get her home and oh darn my MXT is still in the car from earlier. I swing right around the corner from her place to a middle school I have been eyeballing. Unfortunately some other careless person had pillaged this field before me. The evidence was clear with shotty plugs with the trash laying right next to em. I had only been there 45 minutes with little results. I decided to head back to the car and head home to get my projects finished. As I was workin my way along a small slope, and still swinging of course. I get a nice clean quarter signal. I flip the plug and see a blue thing in the bottom. It happened to be yet another sterling ring, with what looks like Abalone. After that I got a little excited but found nothing else between there and the car. So this makes two silver rings today. Not bad in anybodies book. Luck in the hunt.
