Yesterday I only hunted underwater for 30 minutes, early swimmers forced me to pack up and head for the island. I found clad and a couple knifes.

Today I got in a couple hours before I left the swim area, I think I might of found a hot spot. My last three targets were the Sunoco tokens and the 1945 S Washington Quarter. I'm ready for a colonial swimming hole, lol. I tried my BIG underwater light (two 6 volt batteries) In most spots the muck is about a foot or two thick and when I disturb that it gets tough to see even with my halogen light. I might "rake the yard" then hunt on my hands and knees using my underwater pinpointer , leche, and hands. So far crawling around in the muck is all that has been stopping me on that technique. Slow and steady wins the race, eventually I'll get it dialed in, that's the kind of guy I am.

Enjoy the pix

Those Sunoco and Shell game tokens were common finds for a while.Sound off right near the quarter signal numbers. But you did get a silver quarter out of that muck.

Ain't you done with that lake yet??? :dontknow: I see it's still producing, congrats on the tokens and silver. :occasion14: I pull 3 shell tokens yesterday,

Nice? Your still hauling in the silver! Nice tokens too!
Playing in the muck sounds like fun!

TREBLE HOOK SO YOU WERE BACK IN THE WATER CRAWLING IN MUCK . NEAT KNIFE YOU FOUND BEFORE YOU FINALLY PACKED UP . GOT YOU A FEW FINDS FOR IN THE WATER IS THE PLACE TO BE , TO ESCAPE THIS DANG HEAT AND THE AWFUL HUMIDITY.

Looks like you are ready to join the mud ducks in England????
Nice hunt Brad.

The tokens are in great shape. The ones I find are usually rotted right through. Great job pulling that Silver Quarter. Great job!

Another day in the life of Brad...you're making it look easy now.

Nice job. Must be a spawning bed for relics and coins your in. lol

I see good things coming with the hunt there... Some thing you may want to do is rake the yard one day and hunt it the next....I will be following your adventures and Ideas.. Lots of great spots here I know either I have to wait for the water to retreat or go Hooka... Good Luck and Thanks for Posting!

I'm going to rake the yard a little before I start tomorrow. I'll let you know how it works.

Nice and cool!

Raking .. Blowing...Another reason I'm thinking jetski maybe you should look at one of the underwater scooters to blow the silt out. Not to harsh to blow out the targets but to move the silt...I'm looking to blow sand with the jetski...

I need one for a lake I hunt! There is 10-15" of muck I need to blow out under an old diving board that I know has gold under it!
