Yesterday I only hunted underwater for 30 minutes, early swimmers forced me to pack up and head for the island. I found clad and a couple knifes.
Today I got in a couple hours before I left the swim area, I think I might of found a hot spot. My last three targets were the Sunoco tokens and the 1945 S Washington Quarter. I'm ready for a colonial swimming hole, lol. I tried my BIG underwater light (two 6 volt batteries) In most spots the muck is about a foot or two thick and when I disturb that it gets tough to see even with my halogen light. I might "rake the yard" then hunt on my hands and knees using my underwater pinpointer , leche, and hands. So far crawling around in the muck is all that has been stopping me on that technique. Slow and steady wins the race, eventually I'll get it dialed in, that's the kind of guy I am.
Enjoy the pix
