Under water Detectors????????

If you can afford it Minelab excalibur $1100.

or Whites Beachhunter ID. $800.

or used.

water machines are more expensive cause making them wate proof costs a lot.

I like my beach hunter ID from whites(listed for $799 but I got it from the dealer new for$680), but it's only good to 25' of depth. If you plan to do more than snorkel then I would recommend something else like the whites surf master PI (lists for$699,but easy to get cheaper!)which is good to 100' or some of the other u/w detectors! 8) I hope this helps!

Thanks guys!!!I will keep my eye out on prices,I just wasn't sure witch one took to keep an eye on i have a metal detector above the water line. But wasn't sure what was the best for the money under water i have never even seen one before but i have a dredge and was thinking of checking out places with detector then dredging them.I know mine lab is the best according to magazines but was wondering if theres other name s that are compatable to mindlab with out the tag price!!??At least now you've told me about whites beach hunter ill look that one up!Thanks again if any one comes up with something els just let me know..

I agree with Gomer. It's built like a tank and works as advertised. Also the Lifetime warranty and 250' depth sold me. I've only used it a couple of times and was very pleased.
