Well guys got my first 1954 and 1956 uncirculated to lightly cirlculated wheat pennies couldnt be happier

Congrats! I have yet to find a wheat that looks that good. I have a lot of bu 1960's though.

Super finds! I love getting those reddish wheats! My earliest one so far is 1940s. I hope you keep it up!

I got a 1945 and 1954 this morning, and they are in great shape.

Is there a good way to tell when these old cents have been "cleaned" and have the red look because of that, vs. a genuine uncirculated coin? I don't feel like I really know how to tell, and often times when I find an old cent that looks really nice, I'm skeptical.

Usually when a coin is uncirculated its pictures are real 3d looking and it has a coppery orange look like this
