unbelieveable find

Hi
got out with my ace250 for a couple of hours this morning and made a find i
would not believe except I was the one who did it. this canadian looney dollar
was sitting in the center of a large iron washer and the ace 250 picked it up at
three inches and showed it as a quarter and then started to give mixed signals.
and another md'er earlier was laughing at my cheap surface detector
when I am just coin shooting I will use the lighter weigh machine to save
my arm and shoulder and have been impressed with the 250 so far

That's the way to work your machine. Nice catch! Don't sell your 250 short. I have used mine for 20months and found that it doesn't lie to me. I have made some very neat finds. I do not know how to post the pictures here so I just lurk and post replys occasionally. I have been able to find things that others have missed with their more costly machines. I use both the 9x12 and the 7x9 coils. I just yesterday found a 22" 14k Necklace. I am going to work with my daughter to learn how to post photo's. HHHH

Good catch! I have a friend with a 250 and he has some great CW finds that where found with it.

WTG I would never part with my 250.I have had an unbelievable week with mine.I don't have any pictures yet but will post them soon.1869 IH,1951 silver dime,1939 no mint mark silver quarter,and a 1971 Kennedy half.I just love my Ace.I can swing it all day and never get tired.The longer you swing the more you find.We have something in commen.It loves finding the coins as much as I do.

Don't sell the Ace 250 short, it can hit deeper signals for sure. I have found silver between 6-8" and I am waiting for my new coil 14" x 10" that will go much deeper. While the other guy was laughing you were getting hits, so looks dumb?
