As per my previous post, (in General Discussion) I went to the local bank yesterday and got $60 worth of halves. Out of that came a '58 Franklin and 17 40 percenters.
Soooooooooooooooooooooooo, with my appetite wetted, I went back to the bank today and asked how many rolls of halves they had. The gal said $430 worth and I said I'd like them ALL please. Without batting an eye she went back to the vault and broght them out. I took them home and went to work.
Here's what came out of today's effort:
2 more Franklins '51 and another '58
8 (yes 8) '64 Kennedys!
89 (I counted twice) 40 percenters! ('65 - '69)
Total for 2 days effort:
3 Franklins-90%
8 '64 Kennedys-90%
96 40 percenters ('65 - '69)
97 '76 Bicentennials
As a bonus, many of these coins are in remarkable condition even though they were all hand rolled.
