well the first would have to be when i was diving off a local pier, and looking for coins dropped through the gaps in the floor boards above, from the arcades (slot machines and stuff), its a nice dive from the start to the end, occasional old bottles turn up,and the sand shifts and uncovers coins occasionally(must get that underwater detecter this year), reaching the end, i found 8 coins scattered, then couldnt be....could it..... a piece of paper at the bottom of the pier post amongst the seaweed....it was purple....a recognisable purple....yes it was a twenty pound note...wow....., upon getting out, 3 coins were one pounds, a fifty pence,and 2 pences the rest...for a 27min dive, not a bad return
