Not finding a whole lot of stuff except junk. So far I have only found only a small amount clad change, still waiting for my first silver. What can I do to improve my odds?

I picked yo the same detector last August. So far my best finds are an 1864 Indian Head, 1880 Indian Head and a 1944 Mercury Dime. I also found roughly 100 wheats and a ton of clad. The most important thing is to dig all targets and use Disc mode. A lot of my finds were masked by nails and other trash that the Auto Notch mode discriminated out. I'll add that the finds came from my yard or my families yards, you just don't know till you dig. Best of luck and if you have any tips please share since there is not much on this detector on the threads.
