I know just about how you fee.I just had a total hip replacement at the age of 44.Not being able to MD
or any of the thing that I love to do (work--LOL) is killing me.But hey look at the bright side of it,the more
that you want to do something and the longer it takes make it all the more worth it.I hope you the best with your ankle and your recovery goes great.Just do what the doctors tell you to do and everything will be fine.
Sorry for your bad luck.

Thanks all for the replies!! :)

Ouch! I wish you a speedy recovery!!!

I know how you feel, I finally got my first trip to Chicago with a coworker and got off the train, took one wrong step off the curb and tore the tendon in my left ankle. It's kind of hard to walk around Chicago in a brace and crutches :tongue3:. And worst of all it happened right at the beginning of summer, so for the next month and a half I was laid up and no detecting :'(

Hope you get better!

Greg

Cammo,

So sorry :-\ Please get well soon.

Would you feel better if all of us Tneters sang to you? Ready gang, Happy Birthday To You...

Happy birthday, and a more than happy recovery time......you'll have a bunch to do.....and you're a THer...can't keep you down long. ::)
and, 21st, at that......many more to come, and you'll remember to NOT DO whatever you were doing that caused you to take a fall. (I'm a hard learner, too.....
the lesson must get nasty before I remember.)
Speedy recovery. God bless. Do a bunch of research on your FIRST SITE AFTER.....

Ouch Camoqueen, that looks sore :'( But I know you will be out detecting very soon ;D Remember that the first hit you get on the detector may be the screw

God bless
Peter
