Your button is actually a World War I collar disk. The USNA monogram stands for United States National Army, which was formed by the United States War Department in 1917. It combined both conscript and volunteer forces, including units of the United States National Guard. Since it was essentially a wartime army, it was discontinued in 1920, and the Regular Army was resumed.

PBK's the man 8) (so, what else is new?)

This one belonged to my great uncle (vet of WWI) here's the front & back of the one he wore on his uniform.
