These are some of the typical finds that appear in the UK, starting with Buttons, then on to typical copper coin finds, and of course lead finds, lead had a wide range of uses ranging from bottle stops to lead stylus used by the Romans, last but not least the copper bronze finds these include buckles thimbles ect, these finds would not normally come under best finds, but I thought you might like to see the typical UK finds.

I have a couple of those railway buttons like the one in the centre.

Happy new year :)

Just had another look, I really like the tap with the heart shaped handle :)

WOW!! very very nice. I Noticed this button in your button pile. Have you any change to get a better macro close up picture from it.
I have a similiar kind of button if not exactly the same. Founded here in Finland :o Could it be samekind?? Looks like it...

Happy Hunting in UK!

just thinking to buy new primary detector to give a Ace 250 little rest.

Have thinked about c-scopes 1220 R and newforce R1. I bet that you living in UK have some info about these one? How deep they go etc.. Let me no if you have the knowledge?

No nothing about 1220R or newforceR1, try www.joanallen.co.uk this site gives usefull info on detectors, good luck. TK. ;)
