These type of areas are where we are metal detecting in Chihuahua Mexico, most of them were occupied for Spanish people, let say from 1680’s to 1850,s.

Also we could find coins, relics and artifacts from Mexican revolution era.

There are nothing except wild life, Mexican thorn plants and vestiges of living communities in the past.

If you thing are good areas send 👍🏽 if not just enjoy the photos hehe.

Keep detecting

👍🏽😎

Please keep the pictures coming! I really enjoy seeing the landscape and your detecting in it. Being so old and abandoned makes it a place for enjoyable hunting.
I wonder why, after being occupied by humans for so long, that it is abandoned now? Did it get drier there?

Hi Almy,
Thanks for your friendly comments.

I guess was abandoned due to Apaches were involved on this.

Also due to water was decreasing on that area.

The land is so dryer currently.

Keep in touch buddy 😎

It’s in great shape for its age, must be the dry soil
Nathan,

You are right, dry soil and in an area that was with certain levels degree, where rain can easy flow.

Keep in touch, keep detecting 😎👍🏽
