Two what is its found today

Two what is it's found today

These were both found near a confederate hospital that was also near a railroad track.
Do not think they are civil war era but not sure the top on the round piece is about the size of
a Quarter.

If that is a railroad tag (which it looks like) here are a few with the initials S.R.

Great ID. For those that dont know, "a grease cup is a small cup over a bearing in machinery for holding a supply of grease for lubrication, turning the cup forces grease down the shaft".

Thanks for the reply and the website looks like a railroad tag it is. This was found in the mountains of North East TN.
