More coin roll hunting tonight yielded quite a few pre 1959 nickels...around 35 in total out of a $100 box plus two buffalo nickels, one dated 1935, one blank, and a 43P, 45P war nickel....the 43 was in pretty good shape I think....I was hoping for an earlier date on the buffalo but I'll take it.

Wow congrats CS! I’ll take that all day also. You’re definitely on a “roll”, no pun intended 😀

It seems pretty consistent with each box....I don't recall getting this amount of pulls on the west coast...nickels are fun except for my back getting sore from being hunched over and examining them with a magnifying glass. :)

The "buff" has always been one of my favorite coins! I watched the PBS program on buffalo's and was saddened to learn that the buffalo that was the model for the nickel was sold to a butcher shop in 1913???

Tony in SC,
It's too bad they couldn't have given that buffalo a reprieve....the buffalos are a nice coin to look at...they wore out pretty fast...

CM
Outstanding
Congratulations on your continued success
Thanks again for sharing

Just proves, one way or another, they're still out there, just have to put in the effort- well done!

nice coins.
Congratulations on the finds.
I am curious, are you getting the bulk coins at the bank?
Yes, I am just buying a box at a time....it helps to call ahead to see if they have the coins in stock and it also gives them time to get the box out...if you are thinking of coin roll hunting I hope that helps. :)
