Well, the lower one looks like something used to hold tapers or candles at a shrine (I've seen lighter tin versions that hold candles on Christmas trees back when home fires were more common). Mighty rugged for a cigarette holder. Maybe a flag base for veteran's graves?

The upper one . . . maybe a lid from a cigar tin or match safe??

What kind of markings does the second thing have? I can't quite make them out in the photo (it's my eyes and not your photos).

First thing says Cigars and Havana, so I guess a cigar box lock/clasp plate or cigar box decoration
