I have two oddities this time. Both were found at the site of an 1850's home. The original owner operated a ferry, if that matters. No modern stuff there aside from the occasional farm implement part.

------------------

Thing #1 is copper or brass, has a star cutout on one side and four little punched triangles that look like they were stamped to anchor it to a piece of something like maybe leather or wood. It is about 3/4" tall x 5/8" wide at the widest.

Thing #2 is hollow, egg-shaped, copper or brass, with four little cutouts at one end.

Not even a guess?

The world's tiniest crotal bell. Did you notice how that thing protruding from the round object actually goes inside as well?

Good thought on the flag pole tip. Not sure the point of the tab with the hole, though. Any idea what purpose that might serve?

Thanks for at least taking a stab at it. Its frustrating to see 100+ views and not one comment.

The egg shaped piece has a broken attachment that reminds me of old cuff link toggling pieces. The Star piece, no guess, sorry

Bell Clapper would be my guess for #2.
