Two SPILLS in a month!

Several weeks ago I found a pocket spill in a plowed field where an old homestead used to be. A nice Indian head along with a pocket knife. Also in the field I found a few old axe heads, broken bits, marbles, etc.

The second spill I found yesterday- out in my yard. The coins just kept coming out of the hole, I couldn't believe it. 6 in all with 2 silver. These were my first silver coins, and If I hadn't been at T-net reading everyones post's I probably would have stopped digging after the first coin. The wheat pennies range from the 1930's through the 1950's. It was a great 20 minute hunt, after getting skunked the last 2 times out.

Hello my young Friend!
That's impressive! Silver's a gift from Heaven these days and gold's absolutely from the Gods!

How do you like the Sovereign GT?
Is it your first detector?

Sounds like a couple of nice hunts. Glad you broke your dry spell. You just never know what's coming 'til you get down & dig. I'm still looking for my first Indian head & silver quarter. Nice job!!

Thanks. (everyone)

The Sov is my first detector capable of finding something other than nails, and I really like it. I burned up a lot of time learning how it works and what the tones are. Im right now at the point where I dig fewer holes, but they usually have something good in them. This thing pinpoints really good, and works great in the trash. How do you like your SE, and sunray probe?
