I hit the park just before sunrise today. The first two hours were good with 2 Indian Heads, a Wheat Cent, and the smooth Liberty Nickel. The next 6 hours produced 1 more Indian Head, the Jefferson Nickel, and a 1984 penny. It was a great day, then in the ninth hour, Boom a Mercury Dime! That breathed a little life back into my sore legs and back, and then, within 15 minutes Boom! A second Mercury! The Liberty Nickel is worn completely smooth. I can't even read the date. I've never seem one like that before. It may be a lucky piece that someone carried around in their pocket. Here's the list of today's finds:

1882, 1902, 1902 Indian Head Cents
1952D Wheat Cent
1946 Jefferson Nickel
1939, 1944 Mercury Dimes
No Date Liberty Nickel (Good luck charm?)
1984D Penny

Not a bad day there, that would make me smile. HH!

That's an incredible day if you ask me!

Very nice, I'd be really excited to find all those cool coins myself. Congrats!
