Went back to the park I was hunting on Friday that gave up 3 silver. Today I hit a Tot Lot on the way there. Got $5.43 there. Started hunting the park at 10 am, my friend Ken called said he was on the way to hunt also. (I really have got to quit taking people to my spots:censored:) I found a 1944 Merc in great shape.:headbang: Ken got there and we was working the hill by the stone wall in a small section. I went down on top of the wall and found a Penny coin spill, 143 pennies in the same hole, and a piece of plastic bag they were carried in. :headbang: About 30 ft from where I found the Merc Ken calls out,"Got One" so I go up to see what he found, A beautiful 1918 Standing Liberty Quarter, a little worn on the face, but looks new on the back side. "As stated above I need to stop taking people to my spots till I hunt them ":BangHead: Anyway the park is split by the road, so I go across the street, was there a few mins, got a good dime signal and pull out a 1952 Rosie:headbang: five silver from that park so far. Of course I call Ken over, and what does he find in the spot I just left 5 ft behind the rosie plug??? 2 Mercs:BangHead: 1935 and 1942 in the same hole! So we are tied at 5 each from that park so far. Really need to upgrade my :metaldetector:. It was a good day for both of us. I also found 1910, 1953 d, 1951 Wheatie. And a nice copper bracelet. Going back tomorrow, plenty of park left to hunt...HH

to share is to care... lol great job and awesome finds !! keep it up.

Just a word of advice...Its better to share than it is to hunt alone......Hunting alone is BORING!

Thanks guys. I vent cause he's using a E-Trac with a NEL 12" coil, I've got the F2 8" coil. But without him I wouldn't have gotten into the hobby. He did sell me the F2 2 coil package and a Garrett propointer , bag and digging tools for $200.00 and has taught me alot. Just started in July 2012. Got 13 silver so far this yr. Love Ken to death, he's good people!

Im guessing probably ...he will return the favor someday....If not its still fun to hunt with others than by yourself

kayden. Ken's a great guy! Not ragging on him at all. What I need for my F2 is the 11"DD coil or even the 10" coil. I'm currently unemployed, living in HUD housing, put resumes out daily for work I can do, my past isn't the greatest, and I can't drive at this time. All the work I get called for is out of my area. i ride a bike everywhere, not bad for a 46 yr old fart..lol Things will work out in the end. I would just like to get a bigger coil and find bigger targets. I've hit some at 7" with the 8" but a DD would be nice. HH

KEEP ur head up bud, there's sumthing comin ur way!! I bet that coin spill blew ur ear off, WOW.. Your holdin ur own with the f2 and u will really like the 11"dd, it's AWESOME.. Instead of can do u should say KAM DO.. LOL. Good luck bud and CONGRATS.. HH

Thanks fishsticks. All I can do is try. Something should come up after the new year I'm hoping. Getting too close to the Holidays for companies to do any hiring. I think I'd do alot better with the DD or 10" coil. I like my F2 it does find stuff. HH
