Two rings today and a SLQ, how old is this ring

I hit a old site that I've dug quite a few times with my etrac. I'm using a ctx 3030 now. Found a few keepers.
How old do you think the ring is, and what are the letters.

my guess is the signet ring could date possibly from the 40's through the 60's. I believe it's just one letter...'F'
