I found a similar ring in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. It is very small like a children's. Most of the finds were from about 1920-1950.

On another note I found this ring at an old family house in Pennsylvania however the inhabitants (my relatives) moved there from Ipswich, England in 1945 so it would be amazing if I found an English ring like yours on this side of the pond!!
