Two rings - 1 is good, 1 is ugly

Found these the ugly first and then the good. Also found about 25 pennies in one ten sq ft area. A couple of kid must have had a penny fight or something. This brings my ring finds to 1 gold and 3 silver this year. Think that pink stone is a rare pink diamond? ha-ha

Aren't both of those rings gold?
The pink diamond one needs a cleaning, (and some TLC), but I wouldn't turn it down.

Actually, it looks more like a ruby, or red diamond, but that could be the dirt on it, (I'm leaning towards it being a diamond though). By the looks of it, its been run over by a steam roller, or big truck, but if I had found it, it would be washed and in the process of being inspected for hallmarks about now.

I've seen several of those CTR rings in silver with the black face and raise lettering, but not a single one was gold with the black face. All the gold ones seem to have left that feature out.

The page link below seems to have the biggest variety and none of the gold rings has the black face option, so I'm thinking the one BIG61AL has is worth more as a real antique.

The pink one is just a kid's toy ring and the other is silver. Sorry i neglected to mention what they were made of.

Im in the middle of Mormon country & just found my 2nd CTR (choose the righteous) ring this week. I have a buddy who has been detecting fer 15 years & has about 25 of em! Ive heard that all CTR rings are sterling silver. Nice find Al!
