I normally like to take pics of my finds still in the dirt but I was so pumped up I wasn't thinking right. Thanks for all the comments, I'm sure u all had the same fellings when u dug ur first complete plate. I had dug a nice cs tounge some years back but for some reason I always thought a US plate or a breast plate was the thing to find. Hinks in Gettysburg told me you will find 10 us plates to one cs plate so I guess god blessed me in my finds over the years and I'm very thankful... HH and good luck!!
 

BEAUTIFUL plates! That breastplate is as nice as one could hope for. Are the iron hooks intact on the back?

Unfortunately the loops are gone. It was face down about a foot deep, when I seen it in the hole I thought it was junk till I flipped it over.
 

sweet! now get back out there and the other half of that belt plate. hopefully it's got a 'C' on it
 

I´m not really familiar with CW Plates but these look amazing! Congratulations!
