Two palisaded villages, circa 1100 AD found in Macon

They should do 100% on recovery. I bet Jets are landing there in two years. Wonder why they barricaded themselves in? So much to learn. Thanks for the read.

Cool. Maybe they meant they had no idea there were palisaded villages in that part of the country, as there is such a site in Wash-ita County, Oklahoma that dates back to 1000 or 1100 AD. The Oklahoma Archeological Survey came out and studied it back in the late 80's or early 90's. We found turquoise and obsidian there, which indicated a wide area of trade. Nobody has figured out why it was surrounded by a palisade and a moat. And there's not much indication of farming going on, even though that was the principal occupation in that area at the time.
