I found these last summer about 50 yards from an old house foundation where they had their little trash dump. I have some better pictures of these that I'll post later. Seems like when I got though the junk the finds start getting better. I don't know if these are made of copper or brass but they weight a lb. a peace. There is a stamp on the bottom one that says Reck Jum??de. And on the bottom of that it says, made in Germany. The way these are made it look like you can screw off the end, pull off the handle and slide every tooth out to clean them. There are little spacers between every tooth.

They are so heavy they must be some kind of animal comb, sure would like to get an I.D. on them. I'll do some more searching. Someone put alot of work into inventing them. I guess that was before plastic. ;D

Hello Pilgrim, they could be old Carding combs probably used for disentangling and straightening
wool in preparation for spinning into yarns suitable for knitting and weaving.
I don't know for sure that's what they are, but could possibly be. If that's what they are then you possibly have some heavy antiques, if not then as heavy as they appear to be, they could be used as boat anchors. those teeth look like they could bite into concrete. tehe.
Have a good week.
