If the star had a round hole in the center, I'd say a spur rowel, but, probably saddle adornment instead.

Could be a men's ring. Quarter almost fits inside mine. My wife said maybe napkin ring?

I agree that the round object looks like a napkin holder. No clue on the star shaped one.

Star looks as if there is a symbol of some sort on the bottom left pointmay need more cleaning

Update: Cleaned the items

I cleaned them up a bit. The “napkin ring” appears to be plated and the star is copper.

Are there any " tabs" on the back side of the rope ring. If so, it is a coin bezel.

No tabs on the ring; no markings on the star. Could the ring be fancy horse tack? I only ask since I found a couple of other horse tack rings nearby. However, there was a lot of junk in the small area; the house and barn were located very close to one another.

The star looks like brass and the ring looks like copper from what I can see in your pictures, neither look plated in you pics...
